Looking for a place to stay this coming friday. What motel/hotel do you guys suggest? Location around the lake isn't that critical I would say a secure well lit place would be the top consideration. Thanks

Many of the folks on the north shore like Red Door Resort.

I stay in the town of Ilse at Chapman's and trailer to the north shore if that is where I am going to stay. Tim and Tina are great hosts, nice rooms at affordable rates. www.millelacsresort.com

Where EVER you stay take all your stuff inside with you at night,, rods,tacklebox,graphs,,regardless of HOW much of a pain in the ### it is
