Well its been two years since our fellow M1ster KLY passed away. I wanted to ask all you guys to take some time and send a few thoughts his way. We all know that he's up there somewhere fishing untapped lakes loaded with fat 50 inchers. It's amazing how fast time flys by. Here's a few pics to remember him by. Thanks, thedude

Yo Dude,

Today I got to share my boat with a father/son team that bid and won the day with me during the Kly Auction.

Had a great time, saw a zillion fish, caught 2, had 2 other blow ups on topwaters, and lost 3 others. Great day for sure!!!! I know Kly sent a few of those muskies our way!!!!

Thanks Kid!

I have one of his bucktails sitting on my workbench and still have about 4 of his messgaes sitting in my inbox. We lost a good one in Kly.

I hope he got to meet my dad.
They're probably swaping fish stories right now.
I still carry his funeral card in my tackle box.
Well, now there's 2 of them in there.

Thanks for the memories, man, I knew it was getting to be that day again.

Never will I forget his smile. The last cast is always for The Kid; sometimes when I remember, the first one is, too.

Prayers to his folks, this can't be an easy week for them, m

Matt,

How are you doing? I think of Kyle quite often. I framed the funeral card, and it hangs on the wall by the boat, with my most cherished fishing possesions. I think of Kyle often, and when I do, I always seem to end up smiling. We shared some great times in the boat, times I will never forget. Tuffdaddy and I shared his boat last Tuesday, and as always, the last cast was for KLY. I miss that kid.

Hey Now Dude,
I only got to meet Kyle on the first Sab Bay outing, but have gotten to know his pals pretty well since. If the measure of a man is the quality of his friends, he was clearly above average.

Hope we get to fish with you soon, I am working on Jonesi to get me out on Mille Lacs, or maybe hit some of the lakes in my new neighborhood, NW Twin Cities (Maple Grove). First small lake target: Eagle Lake, about 5 minutes from my house.

Take care,
Papa Joe

i cant believe it has been this long. feels like yesterday he was standing on the front of the lund pitching slammer drop bellys while mike and cody were back trolling for walleye at manitoba point. im sure he is up there slaying the 50s with the best of them.

Dude,
I only got to meet Klye at the opening day outing on Okauchee, actually it was the 1st time meeting alot of Muskie1str's. I've fished in both memorials and hopefully a 3rd. Is there going to be a 3rd? When good friends leave us all we have left is great stories and pictures. Thanks for sharing the pictures.....

I was thinking about this all week long. I get another memory from the day, and no doubt he was looking down on her that whole day. I said a prayer to he and my grandma to make sure she came into this world fine, and they both delivered. I know he is looking down on us all laughing at how we're missing out on all the action. Take it easy up there buddy, and Thanks!!!!

Here's the watercolor of Kyle my wife did. He's holding a Sab Bay outing fish, wearing his MF hoodie, his Angel hat, and that ever present smile..

Here is one fun filled day on the ice at Joels Stag party..............I can't find the solo picture of KLY that I wanted to add to this. This was by far the funnest day I spent with KLY.

Send me some big fat muskie this season KLY. I know your looking down at us all with a big smile.

I will always take a cast for you buddy..........

I see you behind Joel in the picture below.
