Location: Lou's Bay on the 'goon | Im using the funky Chicken tanden Spinner with brass blades and black body, caught some pike, is there a difference in action between the grinders and the Rad dogs? Any opinions?
Wear your life jackets, wear your life jackets....wear them all the time. Everyone gets to go home.

| MY MI Chapter set the Chapter Challunge points record on LOTW two years ago. We caught 21 Muskies in 28 hours of fishing with 19 being caught on Rad Dogs. My Chapter also caught more 50 inch fish last year than any other MI Chapter, with many of those being caught on Rad Dogs. Not really trying to brag, but simply stating that Rad Dogs are proven to be high quality lures that catch some big fish at times. Good luck.

Location: Maple Grove, MN | Rad Dogs are great baits. So are Grinders, CJs, Candy Spins, and Funky Chickens - to name a few. It depends a lot on the lakes you are fishing too.
One just has to match the spinner bait to the application and go with what is working. Sometimes a Rad Dog may be hot and other times a Grinder or CJs may be the hot bait. And sometimes it will be smaller baits as opposed to larger ones or different blade types that are working best.
It changes every year too. Last year at this time I couldn't even move a Muskie on a willows CJ and needed something with Colorado blades. This year, willows CJs are the only bait that are moving Muskies for me while nothing with a Colorado even gets a look. Candy Spins are working well for my fishing partners so far, but not for me. Wish I knew why.....
All one can do is try different stuff to see what is working for you.
