Posts: 571 Location: Williamstown, WV | I recently ordered a wedding groomsman custom musky lure for one of my groomsman and I decided to see if Beaver could make it. He made me a Perka with some writing on it for my fishing partner (groomsman) and it is totally awesome. Also I told beav I couldn't pay him for about a week and he sent it to me and told me to pay him when I could. Now that is a fine man and that is what America is about. Thanks again Beav and I recommend anybody and everybody give Beav some business, I know he'll get more from me. Shawn Edited by WV Musky 6/11/2006 8:26 PM

Posts: 4266 | Shawn, think of it as a wedding present from your Ol' Uncle Beaver ![]() I wish you and your wife to be all of the happiness in the world. Uncle Beav For all you other guys, don't be sending me any BS about ...."I'm getting married and have no money". This is a one time thing. Though I think that I did give away a few at the outing. I never made it past 11 o'clock.

Location: Athens, Ohio | Beav, will "I'm already married and have no money!" work? Thanks so much for helping out my buddy Shawn, he's a great guy. You've been real good to all of us, glad i finally got to meet you. The red cammie pants did blend in with the fire real good, thanks again for your generosity for all of us at the outing. I hope your reward comes long before Heaven. m

Posts: 4266 | Mikie, it was great to finally meet you and Mauser. I just wish I could have been there when you pulled the guitar out. For next year, you have to learn every song off of Steve Earle's "Copperhead Road" and "Exit O" and "Guitar Town" CD's and we can have a sing along at the fire pit. Beav

Posts: 2865 Location: Brookfield, WI | Beaver, A Steve Earle guy are you? Very cool. You've got some fine taste in music. I've seen him live at least seven times. I hear some of these young guys talking about listening to heavy metal while they're fishing and I cringe. A little Steve Earle, followed by some Lucinda Williams, I can dig on that. Posts: 2691 Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | Beav is truely a craftsman when it comes to baits. His baits will speak for them selves. I know when we were out testing his baits last year he went through all of the baits to see how they ran. One out of the whole pile was not swinging as good as the rest and he pulled it from the others. It looked just fine but he refused to sell it because it was not perfect. That is good customer service. He makes sure they are perfect before selling them. I can truely say Beaver's baits are the real deal. I got my hands on some and love the glide, swing, belly roll, hang time, paint jobs, etc........... I could go one but you get my point. Keep up the great work Beaver. If I ever get a day off I will call you to get out again. Maybe next week Tuesday at 5pm.

Posts: 4266 | I'm ready! And thanks for the kind words. I just do what I think is right. I think most lure makers are the same. Like Tony Montana said, "All I got is my word and my b^lls and I don't break either for anybody." But I think I left out about 7 of the F words in the translation. Beav

Posts: 32926 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | As I have said many times, Beav is a gentleman. Beav, the note on the green sticky now resides on my office wall. Thanks, man. Next time you are up here, Sue and I are taking you for a muskie and a steak. In that order! Good friends are tough to find. Glad you got back into the fishing world, beav!

Posts: 2323 Location: Stevens Point, WI | Beav, I also wanted to thank you very much for the Perka and the Perka lessons you gave me on the water. You just might see a little business from me. I'm totally hooked on that bait! But thanks again Beav.
