| Hey Muskie Firsters, Just returned back from the opener up on Eagle and the surrounding area. It was an awesome week, with 29 total being caught between my two sons, Weston & Colton, and me. We moved a lot of fish, with topwaters being the ticket. Junior Joes seemed to do well....they moved a lot of fish and produced 5 of our muskies....the zig & zag ALOT!!!! Z baits, Jackpots & Dancin' Raiders, were some of the top producers, while tailbaits, Topraiders/Teasertails, seemed to be holding their own. We caught 19 on on one of my pet lakes, while Eagle produced the rest. Our biggest came from the smaller lake, and it was 44", caught by Colton. The rest came from Eagle. Eagle was void of the big fish up until the last day. We had a number of big fish beek hooked, and lost them...one was over 50", and the other two were over 48".
