| Identifying lure that are your?
If you have a bunch of lures and you wanted to somehow put some kind of identification on them how would you go about this?
I have seen guys engrave on the bill there name or initials. That does look very nice.
I am open for suggestions

Location: Oak Lawn, IL. | My buddy and I had to consolidate our tackle for a trip once, don't remember why, but I just used a permanent marker and put my initials on my baits. Any distinguishing mark would be good enough, I'd think.
Good luck. |

| - Sharpie pens will last a while.
- I've seen guys wrap their split rings on a front hook with a certain color sewing thread to distinguish their lures from other people's lures.
- Some paint the bills of their crank baits
- Engraving the bills of the baits work
- Paint the hooks
Overall..the quickest and easiest is the sharpie with your name or initials on the bill or on the belly of the bait....

| Auto parts stores sell a paint "pen" that may last longer than a sharpie. If you are concerned about having it not look realistic to the fish, put your initials on the baits back. The fish never see that area anyway as they attack from below. |
