Location: Wisconsin Rapids, WI | There were two articles in our local newspaper this week regarding the raising and stocking of muskies in the central portion of the Wisconsin River. Thank you to Don Kempen, Larry Schauer, Jason Schillinger and all of the members of the Consolidated Musky Club for all of your hard work behind the scenes. I'm glad to see these articles because I'm sure the general public probably assumes that the DNR is the only entity involved in stocking muskies. Hopefully incidental muskie catchers will be more likely to release the ones they catch after they see these articles and understand the hard work involved.

Location: north central wisconsin | Thankis Joe, I hope it encourages more CPR myself. I also hope it encourages some more involvement in the club, so we can do a bit more in the future. Don Kempen and Larry deserve the credit. Those guys are a couple of workhorses! |
