Location: Minneapolis, MN | Has anyone replaced the snap that comes with the bait? The one on there looks pitiful. I'm thinking about trying to get a stay-lok on there but wanted to learn from others experiences first.
Thanks! |

| I heard today that they're now going to beef up the blade so you won't need to worry about it. |

| It would have to be beefed up quite a bit for me to trust it. |

Location: Minneapolis, MN | Derrys - I'm tempted to send mine to you....
Yeti - I'm going to try the modification with the split rings and #4 snap. Unless you have come up with something even better. Thanks for sharing the pictures. |

| I caught a 40" last week on the MI ChatterBait in stained water - did exactly as it should. That said, after catching the fish I noticed the snap was nearly breaking - so I replaced it with a heavier snap. I talked to Brad at MI about this and he said that he is shipping a much beefier version this week for all to enjoy.
The lure rocks!! |
