Location: The Sportsman, home, or out on the water | Read my lure doctor article in the April/May MH. Bulging Dawgs is easier when they are weighted. And yes, the occasional tail break can be a trigger.

Location: On the X that marks the mucky spot | Bend the wire up so the dawg is arching it's back and it'll bulge nicely. I haven't caught anything doing this...yet! |

Location: Racine, Wi | Treats hit it on the head. Bend it up to keep it running shallow and up top easier. The tail makes an amazing sound when you do this. It's just a matter of time before it gets eaten. |

Location: Northern Illinois | Bucher had an article in the Musky Hunter and also had a show last year where he figure 8'd an entire drift and he caught a 48" or so. I actually decided to give this a try with a Gold Sparkle Bulldog and caught a 36". Talk about excitement! I probably went around 40 times and this thing came out of nowhere and drilled it! Give it a try sometime! |
