For those interested there is a salmon cam in the viewing window at Bonneville Dam on the Columbia River (Oregon/Washington). Right now the spring chinook are really moving and they can readily be seen. The camera takes 4 shots per minute so hit your refresh key about every 15 seconds.

Lol, kind of like fishing on some days huh. When I posted this last night about 10pm there was 2 and 3 at a time going over. A total of almost 9,000 salmon crossed the dam yesterday so your chances of seeing one are quite good. Keep trying, you will see them!

Look toward the bottom of the screen, they like to travel near the bottom...sometimes you will just see the tail, the head, etc. Don't forget to hit the refresh buttom up top about every 15 seconds otherwise you will watch the same picture forever, lol. You will notice the time stamp updates about every 15 seconds.

The distance from the far left line to the far right line is 24 inches so this gives you an idea of how big some of the fish are.
