going Musky fishing. That's right. After almost six months of being a pest on this board, I'm actually going. Not tomorrow, unfortunately, as my weeny boat owning friend decided he'd rather fish Okauchee tomorrow with someone that knows what he's doing. Even after all the beers I pumped into him over the last two months. I really can't blame him, and all you guys fishing Pewaukee tomorrow are probably better off.

Fortunately for me, the well known Tuffy1 has offered to allow my sorry, fat, and dangerously inexperienced a$$ in his boat on Sunday. Because of his skill, I am fairly optimistic of a postive outcome. Barring, of course, a succession of nasty backlashes, a fall overboard, or the burying of a treble hook in the back of my own head.

Thanks Joel! Maybe you should wear a helmet and dog fighting outfit.

Koepp is probably lucking out as I will be an experienced Musky man by the time our dates roll around a couple of weeks later.

Thanks everybody for the fun of the last few months. Sunday the real fun begins. Actually, maybe it begins in the next hour, as I am about to change into my beer drinking pants and head over to Smokeys.

Kevin

Just a little more planning.

Ah Kevin, you are gonna have so much fun. But the disappointment will set in once you realize that the planning was all for naught...muskies don't follow plans. If they did, would I be able to chase them in Utah? Apparently, weenie boat owning friends don't pay much attention to them either!

Joel will take good care of you. Best of luck.

Kevin,

Good luck! You will have a great time, and I want to say that beginner's luck worked well for me on Oukachee the first time Andrew took me fishing, when I was surprised that he found muskie fishing so hard... I've since learned my lesson.

Thanks for the support Nikki. I hope early on it seems easy for me too.
