Whos fishing the Pewaukee, Okauchee or other local lakes in Waukesha Co.?

Mid 50's for water temps and the fish have got-er-done for two week already. Fishing should be great for the people fishing this area.

I talked to John at Smokey's and we were thinking of getting together at the shop and then maybe the Waterfront Sports Bar for some pre fishing stratigies. Smokey's is stocked up and ready for anything you might need for the opener. Stop in and say hi and get the scoop about the lake and the water temps. I will be glad to help in any way I can.

Smokey's Muskie Shop will be locking up by 9pm or so. We all want to get some sleep and be ready for the opener. So if your in the area, feel free to stop in and have some fun with all the people who have traveled down from the North to fish the opener.

Shep, Jason Smith, Fred J, Sluggo, Scott T, Hintz, are some of the names that should be in town.

Who else is comming down for the opener?

Any talk about a Pewaukee x Okauchee opening day battle.

Lets get pumped up boys !!!!

I will be there, bringing for sale signs on the Lund Esox Angler SS, and a bad attitude. Hope the weather cooperates, the food is good, and the beer is cold. I know the company will be top notch. I'm ready to kick some muskie butt!

Those pups on Okauchee don't stand a chance agin the Pewaukee crew!

I can't wait for the opener!!! It will be good to get out again. This weekend is killing me!!! I may try to get up there Friday night, but not sure. I will be there Saturday though with my 2 annual rookie partners. (they fish muskies once a year, maybe twice at best, so it's cool as heck when they score a fish).

Mike, give me a call this week about the meat.

Shep,

Whats up with the bad attitude?

We will straighten that out real quick with a fish fry, laughs and beers.

All is good for this weekend. The cottage is ready for you guys. Everyone bring a sleeping bag to make it easer on the clean up.

Pizza at the Waterfront Saturday night for the after fishing debriefing and maybe some cards after that back at the cottage.

Well, maybe not a Bad attitude. How about a muskie butt kickin attitude!? Nevertheless, I'll have an attitude!

Eden Meat Market Garlic Venison Sausage will be sliced , with some great Xtra Sharp cheddar, will be my horse da hoovers contribution for Friday night strategy session.

Did you get out this year shining? Got my fish located? What's the water clarity? Temps? What time are we launching? Who will stick the first fish of the season? Man, I am fired up. Hard to believe I'm actually gonna fish for muskie this early! Been two years since I made an opener. Way too long, ya think?
