I'll be in Red Wing, MN covering an FLW Walleye event until Sunday. I hope to get out and irritate a Walleye Sunday, maybe in the new 1890, maybe not, depends on the riggers and my engine; busy time of the year! Where are you headed this weekend?

I am back up the shores of beautiful Leech Lake again for the summer. Opener next week end but we are chasing some panfish in the numerous fantastic lakes in the Walker, area.

Good luck, Murph

FINALLY headed north to do a little work at the cabin. Get the dock in, start getting our own shallow well up and running for the house, some landscaping, etc.

Boat will come along for some crappies, and then stay there for the next weekend's walleye opener.

I am off to parents cabin in Vilas County on Crab Lake. I have to put the dock in and the pump in the well pit and other assorted chores but after that I hope to be able to get a few walleyes for the frying pan. I can't wait to fish for something bigger than a crappie.

Heading to Oneida County for the 25th annual father/son walleye weekend. After this weekend it's all muskie, but we've been doing this for so long, it's hard to quit. Good times always had. Also a good way to work the kinks out of the shoulders without throwing the big stuff. This year my son will be bringing his new daughter to keep grandma company at home, an added bonus for her, besides getting rid of me for a few days.

Yep...going out on Biron with the college kid. Should be a good time....looking forward to subjecting him to a winter's worth of BST's just waiting to be unleashed on the unsuspecting. Just don't whine about women Mike and we'll be fine!!

Hey, you are fishing with Pointerpride102 not Merckid! I've got no problems with the opposite gender.

Heading back home to Chetek, probably fish the chain of lakes on Saturday. Then on Sunday going over to the Island Chain to fish for some walleyes. I am sick of college and can not wait until school is finished. Then I get to spend another summer in Detroit Lakes on some great muskie waters around the area.
