Just thought I would show you my latest effort, not radically new but its proving very popular with the fish... Iv named it the "Ripper"

Interesting where you placed the tow point on that bait. Are you cranking this bait?

Riverman, Iv positioned the tow point there so that with a long pull or rip of the rod tip the lure dives then rises veeeery slowly at approx 45 degrees and thats when fish are hitting on the rise, the weighting was crucial to get this effect so all weight is in the nose of the bait.

If I crank the bait it has a slight side to side wobble but only goes down a foot or so, I can even use it topwater if I keep the rod tip up and the tail action is nice.

Apologies to Roger at H2O lures, he already has a bait named the Ripper...doh

Erm... ok i`ll call it the Rippertail, please dont tell me that name has been used aswell?
