Subject: Trailmaster bearings/hubs

Hi. Bought this trailer two months ago. It sat on the dealers lot for 5 years, never sold. i wanted to check out the bearings and grease level before a longer trip, but the caps? are different than others i have seen. They're recessed abit, and have a bolt? in the center. It has a rounded head but has no slot like a screw would have. Does anyone have one of these trailers that can help me out here? Owners manual did not share any info. Thanks.

Not sure if your setup is the same as mine, but that rounded head you refer to, maybe a zerk or grease fitting. Trailmaster has a Safe T Lube system, at least mine does. If yours is the same, you remove the outside rubber seal or cover, then bend the tang washer to the free position. Then unscrew the spindle nut and remove the hub.
