Location: Eau Claire, Wisconsin | this is my first foil and painted lure just thought i would let you guys see it. its not to bad for my first and hopfully i will get as good as you guys on here that can paint amazing paint jobs on lures. just wonder everyones thoughts and if you guys would have any comments or suggestions on the next ones i try.

Location: Muskoka Ontario,Canada | If I'm not mistaken that is a photo finish of a crappie ovelaid onto the foil? What part is actually painted? That aside, it obviously looks really good. My only advice at all would be to not have the scales on the head as it detracts from the realism. Other than that it's an exceptionally nice looking bait. Congrats. |

Location: Eau Claire, Wisconsin | yea its a photo overlay. the painted part is across the back a little on the sides and i had to touch up some places. thanks for the scale comment i never even though about scales around the head once said it really does take away from the look. well somthing that i got to keep in line for the next one i try. trial and error best way to learn.

Location: Muskoka Ontario,Canada | I appreciate you clearing up the photo overlay. As a guy known for trying to do that with paint I always want to make sure that people know the difference. Your bait as I said looks incredible and is one of the best of this type of finish that I've seen. Just get rid of the scales on the head and that thing will look insane. Once again I think you've done a great job!

Location: Muskoka Ontario,Canada | That would make a nice big profile too running on its side. If it runs like that anyway, maybe you should put the belly hook on the side that runs underwater? Just a suggestion. |

Location: oswego, il | Better yet, put a hooh on the back so there is one on each side, I think it would hook up better that way. Nice looking bait and that is your first too, wow.
Brass delta blades, I don't think I have seen any that color and they look bigger than the ones I have, where did you get them? |
