I purchased my Wisconsin Non-Resident and Illinois Resident and couldn't believe that the Wisconsin license seems to go up every year! I was wondering if anyone knew a site I could purchase a Canada and Michigan License and what the prices were. The WI NR was $50 and the IL R was $13.

Thanks,
kevin

I do ont know about Canada licenses online, but Michigan just go to the Michigan DNR website.... whatever states/provincences you get online, make sure you save a copy to your harddrive as a backup for what you print

A prevous post had a link that you can order your Ontario Canadian license. For an annual regular non-resident license cost me $68.00. I just don't know if I would be able to release my dream musky of sixty inches (a must if you get a conservation license). Maybe Steve or Slamr can help find the link? Good Fishing, Al

Yes WI NR has been going up the past few years. I still buy it though and will gladly pay the extra $10 this year if it will keep the DNR up and running and improve the resources.

Really that's not bad compared to a non resident out east (with the exception of Ohio). Generally they are in the $55 range.

I like the Illinois OOS license. It's only like $24. Thank God for tolls. LOL (okay, so that has no part in that, but I pay them every day on the way to work, so it seems worth it now)

I would really like to see a 1 day NR license.
The closest is a 4 day for 24 bucks. They have a two day available for Lake Michigan - why not for inland lakes ??

I've bought a Conservation license the last three years in Canada. You can't keep as many fish, but I think for the 7 day one, it was about $18.00 American.

Tradeoffs: If one fished for 10 days, the nonresident license cost would be $5/day. Twenty days of fishing brings the cost down to $2.50/day. If one played a single round of golf on a quality course & used a cart, the cost would be about the same as a nonresident annual license. Two new sure-fire jerkbaits equal the annual license cost. The opportunity to bitch about the cost increase, priceless!
