Posts: 3240 Location: Racine, Wi | I may be hitting the Pond on Sunday for some Brownies. Depends on if I can resist fishing for skis for a day. Slamr, Lambeau, anyone up for a Racine brownie trolling expedition on Sunday. I'll be the first to admit, I have nooooo idea outside of some great info from Chuck, but I will figure it out, and we'll have a box full of them by the time we get off the water. Location: Munster, IN | Awesome. Looking forward to the site. We went out last weekend and got eighteen HO's. All on green tinsle tail flies behind a yellow bird. Going again next week end and the week end after that. Then off to Webster for some musky action.

Posts: 4266 | I spent ten years as a first mate on my brothers charter boat. If I never catch another salmon, I'll be happy. I think that they taste like crap! I'll take the perch out there anytime. They do fight, that much I must admit. For Lake Michigan fish, I'd much rather grab a flyrod and hit the tributaries......very soon as a matter of fact. Beav

Posts: 1936 Location: Eau Claire, WI | I grew up in Milw. and my dad had a boat he kept on the lake. We enjoyed the Salmon boom of the late 70's.... Much as I love Muskies, there is something to be said for watching the line burn off the reel from the run of a King/Chinook. My Grandpa had a smoker he built and they were oh so.... tastey. There are times indeed I miss that 'big pond'.
