Posts: 408 Location: Omaha, Nebraska | I really need a good tackle box that the sun wont ruin my lures, like the clear plano tackleboxes i have. I want to know what tackle boxes you would recomend that are sturdy and wont get the lures damaged by the sun or any other lures in it. Aslo I am looking for one that can easily hold 100 lures. thanks, eric Edited by DEMolishedyou 4/2/2006 2:01 PM

Posts: 814 | fish4...it all depends on what size musky lures you are storing. I can fit about 70 ten inch jakes in a lakewood monster but I know I could easily fit over 100 bucktails in the same box, or even shallow raiders, see what I mean it all depends on what you are trying to store. But for the most part 1 lakewood monster should store enough stuff to keep most happy

Posts: 1335 Location: Chicago, Beverly | I like the Plano 3730's... also, Captain Harry's Tackle Tamer is pretty good... http://www.muskie-lures.com/tackletamer/index.htm Lakewoods..heck, you can stand on a lakewood... they just can take up a bit of room if you get the monster

Location: Des Moines IA | I crammed about 80 baits in my monster, and I do use it as a platform quite often, and I weigh 200+ pounds... just alot to lug around ...... if you have the extra boat space, and don't mind lugging the beast around, get a monster .... Posts: 281 Location: Girdwood, Alaska | I've actually been able to cram around 75 into my Plano 7915 (says it fits 50-60), and i don't have any bucktails in it. VERY tight in there but get's the job done for now... :-). Have a couple of Bailey Pack's that i use for spinnerbaits and some of my tandem bucktails. I might need to upgrade to the monster soon if i don't stop buying baits :-0 Edited by A-ROZ 4/3/2006 11:17 PM
