so I decided that class was less important then a few hours of fishing from the shore. i got this in the first 20 minutes or so and saw two others about an hour later. two DNR guys helped me out and took the pics for me. the fever has got me early this year!

That's a fat bastage, nice to catch early season fish isn't it? Is that a secret lake? Or are you willing to let the cat out of the bag? Looks like a Leech Lake strain?

thanks for the praises. i got 'em on an undertaker (suggested by my brother). i started my muskie career with the likes of kly, steve jonesi, and of course my brother (thedude), i think they are proud of my recent ditch and catch day.

Congrats on the fish. Some of my best days fishing are when I skip school/class. I had a really sweet ice fishing day a couple years ago (when I was in high school) when I skipped class. 1st semester when the weather was nice this year I caught a lot of smallies when I skipped classes. Now, this semester I will probobly end up muskie fishing when I'm sopposed to be in class within the next few weeks as the weather gets nicer.

Sponger, you are correct. In my case it was a Dog and Suds drive in hot dog joint, where the owner would dash through the place with a container of Root Beer syrup and holler "CONCENTRATE!!". I finally did for about thirteen seconds and quit. Even then, I never learned how to type, figuring this was a totally unecessary thing to learn. Who knew.

Skip a class, catch a muskie. Hmmm, I'd skip. But just a couple, and I'd alternate, so's there is no behavioral pattern developed that is discernable.
