We at Hooksetters really enjoyed our first year at this show. Will certainly be back next year! Nice to see everyone again. Sore throat, lots of talking.

This is the first time I missed the show in years. I took my kids to the Milwaukee JS Sports show today.

The New London Musky Magic show is a great show, bummer I missed it. There is always next year..........

I agree, met some faces from the board today! Sadly, no one brought their hot sister for K-bob. ;( (by the way, I want to thank my staffers who made it and helped out: K-Bob, Timmy, My wonderful wife Lori, and Dr. Mike)
Anyways, it was nice meeting you guys. Alex, send me pics of those blanks I gave you when you paint them up.

Ditto to it being a good time...putting faces with names together. Was there the entire time and feel as if I could still be there putting faces to names. It only made the itch get worse to get out on the water picking backlashes.

How many days till the season opens?

It was a nice show. I noticed fewer people than last year, but still a pretty decent turnout. I am sure that people will be more than pleased with the Rylures and GP Thumper spinnerbaits that they purchased at our booth. Wish I would have had a few more spinnerbaits along. I cannot wait to try my new double weighted Smitty bait, my musky magic glider with the squirly tail(my one impulse buy of the show), and the coolest twitch cranks I have ever sen, the Cranky Nitros. I could not beleive how the non slow rise model wiggled as it rose to the surface. The lure that Roger made for my newborn daughter was such a nice surprise too, and we will cherish it forever! Oh, the Nessa cranks that Rob painted up in my custom colors look very good, and I cannot wait to try them on the river soon.

Jason, I bought a Tell Tail from Ryan and it is really sweet!! I watched you demonstrate it in the hot tub along with the custom creeper he made for you and I tell you that it is one of the sweetest creepers I have seen, I think i might have to order the same one!!

Here are some pics from the show.

If you made the show, sorry about talking so long...my first seminar and it was hard to judge how long it would take to present it when I was putting it together.

Richard, just tell Ryan you want one of my fat froggy straights. I had him do that one with longer wings. Lots of plop. Glad you liked the Tell Tail, it should produce. Did you see the Buckdancer? Now that, is going to be hot this year!

That looked really awesome along with one of the tapdancers, it was really ploppinand clickin and moving your arm. Was also wondering if the creeper cost anymore than the regular customs and do you have any pictures of his a$$ backwards?

Anyone know how to contact Random Lure? I need to get one of his pheasant tail bucktails and one made from buffalo hair.

Random Lures Bucktails were Hot! I think he should have named his company Wild Hair instead. Great stuff!
