Location: Presque Isle Wisconsin | A Barometer reading that has been steady (unchanging) for several days will usually make fishing tougher.A moving barometer in either direction seems to activate /motivate
fish to feed.If the barometer is moving lower (less pressure ) that seems to be better than an upward or higher pressure movement.Some of the best fishing ive experienced muskies or any other fish species has come when the bottom is dropping out of the barometer.This type of movement is usually associated with a prefrontal condition and seems to really motivate fish to eat. |

| I don't have an instrument that I think would be accurate to measure it, nor the changes, so don't pay much attention to it. I am sure it has an effect, but the fishing time I have is spent trying to be on good spots, throwing good baits so hopefully when something is envrionmentally positive, I am in position to cash in. |
