1) Lori and I catch our personal bests this year (not too much of a challenge for her, lol)
2) beat the biggest fish on a Muskynightmare bait (51" Great lakes strain so far)
3) do more trolling.
4) Teach folks that are close to me (namely my niece Maggie) to fish and catch Muskys
5) become a better steward to the sport (tell me this aint as physical as anything you have ever done, slacker).

1. boat a 50 on one of my brother's homemade creations.
2. 50 fish in the boat...been close the past two years.
3. Continue to network
4. Get one on a quickstrike with doughballs (that's still cracking me up)
5. 100+ days on the water
6. "discover" some "new" water
7. Be on the water at least one day for 24 consecutive hours. Gotten to 19 before a storm blew me off, trying to crack 24.

1.) Boat 100 fish this season. Ended '05 with 77 legals with one at 50". 2.) Get my kids there first legal. My oldest boy who just turned 11 had his share of chances last year, but just could'nt stay connected with 'em. 3.) Have better luck in tournies this year.

Have fun fishing & think safety always.
Make new muskie fishing friends.
Fish with different people sometimes.
Fish alone sometimes.
Grill out during the mid day fishing break with friends more. That's fun!!!
Give a friend a pointer that pay's off with a nice fish for them.
Learn new waters
Learn something new about muskie fishing that put's fish in the net.
Catch a 45+ Tiger, take it's picture, let it go & order a replica mount.

And the most important. Respect other boats & anglers at the launches & on the water. The Jet skiers can kiss my @ss!

I started this year with the goal of boating at least one muskie in each month. Jan and feb I got skunked so now I'm shooting for i fish in the next 12 consecutive month. Im already on the board for march. What I guess this really is is a goal to get on the water more. Be safe and be good to each other out there. Pesonal best is always a gaol as well. I can deal with that even though it may not be a fifty. Not that I'd mind.
