Posts: 7105 Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | If I had a garage wide enough, I'd have one on order. Posts: 2893 Location: Yahara River Chain | Slamr, you can keep it my garage here in Madison. I'd have to get rid of my Esox Mag first. Of course, I hope you leave the keys with me.

Posts: 2893 Location: Yahara River Chain | Well Donnie3737........ I can proudly say that I have never fell asleep at the controls of a tiller. But I do love fishing with ya. I learn so much my head hurts. ps - tell the boys that the girls at Hooters are still shaken up. Hopefully they will be functional by the time the CC MI school rolls around.

Posts: 51 | Has anyone seen the Tiller version of the 1890? Curious as to how much room there is on top of the livewell area for the angler in the back to be able to stand and cast. Also curious about the storage on these boats. It doesn't seem like they have much of it in the diagrams on the website, but I have not seen any of the recent Tuffys. Thanks for any comments.

| the console Osprey versions (the one pictured above) has the same rear deck as the Esox Deep V tiller would have in it. the tiller seat mounts to the floor in front of the rear casting deck. i had been planning to build a custom deck extension for the 1760 tiller i'm getting this year - until i stood on the rear deck and now i'm not going to bother extending it. there is plenty of room to cast with ease, especially since Tuffy is putting a non-skid coating on the splash area to allow you to put a foot back there if you wanted to do so. great design/idea. (1890 is similar...just wider across the beam.) as for storage? there is more storage in that 1890 than you'll find in most any comparable boat! tons of storage room. best way to know is to go to your nearest boatshow and check one out...they'll be at the Madison Fishing Expo this weekend! | |||

| Saw it at the milwaukee show. The livewell lid is more that enough to serve as a casting platform, at least 1.5 feet wide if not more, plus either side of the splashwell is a wide and level square area that is non skid and made to walk on. The storage is bigger than it looks based on the lids in the front deck, the entire front deck is 3 storage compartments that go way up under the deck, on either side of the center rod locker. If you get the optional rear deck that is all enclosed storage inside as well, but it eats up most of your rear floor space. BTW I measured the rod locker, it holds an 8 1/2 foot rod easy (15 of them) but a 9' will go in the top row if you force it. | |||

Posts: 5874 | If everything comes together, I be sliding one into my garage before too long. I can't wait to be a Tuffy owner again. Sure am glad I had a 10' door put in the third stall! Now, as for the color? I sure liked the Sliver Flake, but I am partial to red. Speaking of Red, my Lund Esox Angler SS is for sale. I'll be sending Steve some new pictures for the classified ad. Posts: 51 | Looks like a nice rig ! Is there any storage at all in the back 1/2 of the boat other than the battery compartment next to the livewell? Anything along the sides or in the sidewalls? Also, does anyone know what ball park this rig is in for $ for a 1890 and 200 merc opti and trailer? Thanks!

| the '06 pricing has been out for awhile now. i'm not sure about the 1890 w/200hp, but if you contact one of the dealers listed here (link below) they can get you an exact quote on a boat rigged out to your specs. my experience has been that most are very quick about this, and willing to do it over email. http://www.tuffyboats.com/dealer.asp | |||

Posts: 51 | Does anyone know of one of these new 1890s in the Minneapolis metro area that a guy could come and look at. None of the dealers have one in stock.

Posts: 32952 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The boat ran 60 MPH with a 200, so we figure a bit over 50 with a buck and a half. The only way you can buy an 1890 in on a Tandem trailer. He she is aired out. Attachments ---------------- 18790demo3.jpg (134KB - 162 downloads)

| I too saw these boats at the Milwaukee Musky Show. They are beautiful! However the only thing that kept going through my mind while viewing the Golden rig was "'Elvis has not left the building!"L.O.L. Douglas | |||
