Anyone got any wood magics they don't use or would like to part with I can use them.
Good teaching lure.
Easy to paint up.
Dose many things.

New plastic ones don't come close to old ones in many things.

if you want a similar shapped bait to a old magic maker, and swims better, talk to Shanew on this board. His gliders are AWESOME!

I think if you e-mail Drifter/Musky Mania you can custom order one. I agree, the wood ones were A LOT better.

Got all the fancy junk I need thank you.

Older, wood Magic Makers.

New woods I got direct before the split are different also.
Plastic aint for me either.

Older, second run lures do things other can't.
More beat up the better.

Thanks for the info though.

Tom

My understanding is the Tippy Darter was the orig Magic Maker. Might be that the orig MM were made by Chea, not sure but I know I heard that from someone. Contact him on the site you might be pleasingly supprised! Doug

I've got one, it's missing an eye, but it's in great shape. Walleye color. I bet is was only used a few times.

Let me know.

New information, I was just in Madison WI and a friend took me to one of the Dornes Hardware stores and to my suprise they had orig magic makers. The thick ones with mm written on them. They also had second run Magic Makers (thinner with name on sticker under the clear coat) so when you talk to them specify the model you want and they might ship them to you. Doug
