hi fred,
to post pictures you have to be logged in as a member.

if you look along the top of the page in the light blue-gray area you should see something that says you are logged in as a guest, with links to "logon" or "register". register as a member, and then logon.

once you've done that, when you post a message you'll see an option check-box near the bottom of the screen that you type your message in that says "attach a file after posting", click on that, hit submit, and a screen will come up allowing you to upload your image.

tip: resizing your images to 640x480 before posting will give you the best results for easy viewing.

open your "My Pictures" folder (or wherever you have the picture saved)
right click on the picture you want to post, select "Edit"
this should open your default picture viewer/editor
look for the edit tab, find the resize function
select "pixels" (rather than inches) and resize to 640x480 pixels

If you don't have a photo editor in your software package, Google that term. There's a bunch out there that are freeware.
