We have done the skinny ones & the fat ones, how about the odd ones.
Deformed, prop wounds, ........
Here is a 42" with a deformed snout - it does not look like it hurt his feeding capibilities.
Then a 39" from a different lake my daughter caught with the same problem.

Here's one my buddy caught last year, I accused him of running it over with the boat and picking it up for a picture.

Here's a couple of odd balls! One with a snubnose & one missing a large part of it's head! Both were real healthy fish.

Wasn't sure whether to put this one in the skinny fish or odd fish thread...
Another malformed or shortened upper jaw fish. But it was my longest to date (44").

I once heard this "short top lip" problem was a result of mix-spawning/stocking. I am not sure where I heard that, but it is stuck in my head.
Has anyone seen this condition on a 100% natural reproduction lake?
