I use my 1800 Pro V once or twice a week and on two week long fishing vacations. It's time for two new deep cycle batteries to run the trolling motor. I'm thinking about Trojan sealed batteries I think they are called AGM. These cost about $140.00 and up. I'll need two. Would a guy be better off buying a couple Stowaways fro Sam's club at $55.00 or $60.00 each? What would you do?

I have a stowaway deep cycle and a cranking battery for the big motor. They are cheap and hold a good charge. There are plenty of expensive batteries that are better, but for the price and "sam waltons customer service" its a good deal.

Along with that question.....my only power is a trolling motor.....what type of battery last longest and is "modestly" priced. Thanks.
