Does anyone use either of these rods for musky fishing? I'm looking for a longer rod to throw Grim Reapers, Traps, smaller jerkbaits, SS Shads, 6 inch believers and jakes, larger bass crankbaits, etc.

Thanks,

threw the TBC73XHF last year on the cave with Gregg Thomas. Great rod, very sensitive and light. i would recommend it for any lures 1/2oz - 2.5 oz. all around great lighter lure rod.

check out the Esox rod in the 7' version 1/2-2.5oz too. it has a little more backbone and is lighter. mine really, really zips the traps and smaller bucktails around. it's nice and sensitive for jigging too.
