What are your plans for the New Year weekend? I'll be hunting some, and ice fishing some, and celebrating some, too! Sue and I plan to stay here at the Hideout for New years Eve, just hang out and enjoy the evening.

Your plans?

Be on the ice up by Mellen area for some crappies and possibly a few walleyes. First time on ice this year...

Since my b-day is tomorrow, and Lori's is on the first, we have a Hunge New Year's eve party every year. New Year's day plans will consist of cleaning up while chasing away our wicked hang-overs.

Hanging out with my kids, rather playing referee to see they get equal time on their new x-box.

Still hoping to hit Shelbyville (haven't made it yet), plan to be down there Saturday musky fishing and then getting together with my girlfriend that night to celebrate the New Year. I am really enjoying having my girls with me this entire week.

Some Kly Auction stuff arrived from Slamr yesterday so I can't wait to try my new Perka

Hanging out with the wife, kids, and some neighbors.... but then maybe going out to pop a couple pheasants on the Monday following! Probably my last chance before putting the ol' pea shooter away for another year.

Going to fish muskies a few days on Melton Hill or the Collins River in TN. Then spend New Years eve in the north Georgia mountains.

I'll be ushering in the New Year at Shaw's Bar and Grill in NE Mpls. (The muskie friendly bar )

Rocking to San Fransisco guitar prodigy Maxx Cabello Jr.- as he is quite possibly the re-incarnation of Jimi and SRV. (Just ask fishpoop or Ranger as they've heard this kid play)

Should be a great start to 2006!!

Have fun boys and girls, but don't do anything I wouldn't do. Wait.....that might not be the best suggestion in the world Enjoy ringing in the New Year but be sure you make it through safely so we can see/meet/fish/chat with you next year.

I will be spending the weekend with my family and that of my sister-in-law (our 4 plus their 6 kids in our house this weekend :-O). Me thinks we will be bundling them all up each day and throwing them out in the woods to wear themselves out. That means an early bed time and then the two Bros-In-Law can get our drink on.

Here's to a great start to '06 for you all.
