| Looking to get a used rig this coming spring. How long has Crestliner offered a welded hull?? Anyone else build one?? How much should I believe in the salesman's song and dance of riveted hulls taking alot of the wear and tear riding on the trailer??? Metal plates shifting and rivets loosening?? Thanks in advance. |

| Never had a leak in my riveted hull Lund, and it is old.

| This has been re-hashed soooo many times it's pointless. Lund and Crestliner are owned by the same parent company - both are really nice and each will appeal to someone for specific reasons. I bought one of the two because I liked the layout....I fish from the top of the boat, not the hull
One thing to do is find a dealer you trust.
Lunds leak, crestliners crack....and glass is too heavy, expensive and sparkly which scares fish.
Take up golf. |

| There is supposed to be a new titanium boat that is welded, rivited, and then glued. That way it has all the bases covered.
Like the earlier post, pick the one that best suites your style of fishing, they are all good. |

| Looking for a USED boat, and a new motor. I have never owned a boat, so I am trying to learn as much as I can before buying. In Ontario, the lodges' Nadens were dry. They just store them on the shore for the winter. Those are double riveted, as are Lunds. Just fishin' for some answers. As fore golf, haven't played in three years and I don't miss it bit. |
