From all the responses on the board here, IlliniVandy and myself have decided to try and get some sort of tourney going for both students AND alumni.

What I need from YOU is to email/PM me your email addresses, if you're interested ([email protected]).

For current students,

If you are a current student and are interested in having a mini tournament or just an outing with other guys from different schools, email me at [email protected].

Hope to hear from folks soon!

Please state whether you are a current student or alumni. Also, include info on boats, etc.
We're trying to make this happen!! This is the first Collegiate Musky Tournament that we know of.
All colleges/universities are welcome to express interest/participate.

Purdue Alumni, Go Boilers...Anyone else?

If not I also went to Stanford and Northwestern.

Otherwise, I will fish solo and represent the Gold and Black

I just watched the College Smash-Mouth Bass Tournament where our Fighting Illini Bass Club finished second. That means they are #2 in the Nation!!!

After watching that, I'm really pumped to put on and participate in a similar event for my favorite fish of all, musky!!

Remember, all colleges and universities are welcome to participate, just post or email!

Doesn't matter what school you went to, we just want to pit schools against schools - somewhere...

send me and IlliniVandy emails with just your names so that we can start a list. we both are serious about this. as of right now we're thinking about possibly a trip to a great early season action lake here in IL or down to Kinkaid in the spring. we would like to continue something either this summer and/or the fall.

also, we would very much appreciate any input/suggestions people have to help make this happen. we are relatively new to setting this kind of large-scale touramanet scenario up, so any help would be great.

Go Boilers!  B.S. (how appropriate) 1982, life member of the alumni association, and John Purdue Club member.  Also a degree from some minor school which is based in Bloomington, Indiana, but I don't want to talk about it.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1989 and have been a life long badger fan. I would love to continue the big ten rivalry in any way shape or form including Musky fishing. BG
