 | I haven't but that doesn't mean it isn't out there.  I think of the Sennett Rough Runner when you describe this type of bait.  I like the roughrunner it produces a pretty unique sound.  I think Smokeys had a lure by Nimmer called the Prop dog as well.
 I think that T.E.N.S. lure company had one out with a rear type globe section as well.  Hope this helps.
