Posts: 20229 Location: oswego, il | I am going to kiss butt where it is due. I was boatless this year and will be for the foreseeable future but Thanks to these folks, I fished about every weekend I wanted: Kevin: Thanks for always having a spot for me to fish. Why does your cottage spin? Must be the whiskey. Tomcat: Bracing myself on the seat pedastle to keep from going in the lake and crawling to get the net so I did not fall in could not have been more fun. 13 hours of snow, sleet, rain and big wind and plenty of fish action. What did your brother mike call that boat? The new boat is cool, I need to get in it! Jomusky: Way fun, have to do it again. The look on your mother-in-laws face when she asked me "how do you know Joe?" and I repsoned "we spent 5 years in san quentin together." MuskieE: I learned what all the buttons are for on your truck, I need to back it up on some more launches! Muskyboy: If you liked lake s, your gonna like lake f,c,n,l,m,g,e and o too! Next year, me you and a town called mercer. Buckeyefan: Shelbyville, next year, my net. JohnM: Dang, alomst half of your fish I have netted for you, I must be putting you on good spots. JimmyZ: I can't wait to do some more trolling, been absent this year from that presentation that puts alot of fish in the net for me. Running Hot: The new boat is great and you are a master of boat control. You live 15 minutes from me and we have only fished together 3 times, we need to fix that. Steve and Sue Worrall: for being such great hosts and making such a great meal. I could eat like that every day. And lastly to muskiefirst because everybody I have just mentioned I have met because of this website. I would not have fished or caught a musky this year if it were not for me being here. Posts: 32892 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | ToddM, We were pleased to have you stay at the Hideout; my only regret is I didn't have time to fish with you and Steve. The evening gossip ( no wait... men discuss, not gossip, right?) was terrific! It's absolutely brutal here right now, winds at 25 MPH and temps at zero....that's why I'm sitting here behind a computer monitor instead of out in my stand attempting to refill the Hideout Freezer. Sue made three pies and a turkey for Thanksgiving; me thinks I'll step aside from the imfamous Atkins for a day.

Location: Athens, Ohio | Todd, thaks to you for the gifts of your hand-made baits. I really enjoy the ones I have. I also second your statement: "And lastly to muskiefirst because everybody I have just mentioned I have met because of this website. I would not have fished or caught a musky this year if it were not for me being here." I'd take it one farther and say I'd still be muskie-less without the kind assistance and patient advice of all the wonderful folks who come here to play. Steve, the hospitality you, Keith, and Sue extended to me ande Mauser last year still warms my heart to remember. Thanks again. The pies are done, the turkey is in the oven (OK, and on the 'puter, too!), and I'm going downstairs to join my wife and mom in watching the parade. Enjoy and give thanks. m

Posts: 1137 Location: Holly, MI | I'll kiss it too where needed.. Thanks to God for another safe year. The family has survived all the natural and un-natural disasters. Our counrty still stands, Our President still rocks, and although we have many shortcomings..this is still by far the best country in the WORLD to live in. I have complained, probably more than my share, about the lack of money in these hard times (SE Michigan is still in major trouble), didn't get to fish enough, want more toys, etc. I still would like to take this moment to reflect on all the blessings throughout the year. It is easy to forget the good and focus on the negative. Thanks for all the fun and great advice on thios board. Keep it as pure as it has been. Have a great holiday season, safe winter and may you all have dreams of giant Muskies during the long winter nap. ~dave

Posts: 1023 Location: Lafayette, IN | Todd, I think most of us owe you a favor or two because most of us have been recipients of your friendship and generosity. What goes around comes around Bud. Fishcrazed and I will be on Tippy tomorrow am. Wanna come along? Steve, Zach and Slamr, you run a top notch show here. Thanks! God, thanks for all the blessings you afford me. I don't deserve all you've given.
