There's still time to enter the fall challunge. The chain has flipped and should be settled by the weekend. We have an approaching front and a smaller than usual field. The odds are in your favor. For you PMTT anglers, this is a preview of the championship next year. Click here for details... http://www.fishingwaters.net/assets/frv/tourneypromo/promo.htm

Good question. I have posed this to our tournament committee and will post an update when I get a response. It is dependent upon the size of the field, which right now there are about 45 boats.

The tournament pays out to the top 10 places, regardless of the field szie. With a full field (110 boats): 1st: $3,000 2nd: $1,500 3rd: $1,000

Posts: 169 Location: Elgin ,IL | Thanks Slamr! We currently have about 50 temas registered and plenty of room for more! Weather should be perfect! Food will be hot, beer will be cold, all we need is for the muskies to co-operate!

Congratulations to Russ & Chris Schaller who boated a 38" and a 40.5" to take top honors, big fish and series champions. The day started out promising with the approaching front and air temps in the mid-40's. The field of 60 some boats was able to catch 9 muskies that measured with 1 boat doubling up. Most fish were caught early in the day and were holding shallow. The team of lightning, hail & rain all showed up late in the day, but didn't put too much of a damper on the field. Full results will be posted on the FRV website along with pictures. Some 30+ raffle prizes (each valued at $85 or more) were handed out. The food was hot, the drink was cold and the smiles were everywhere.
