"A Look At The Life Of Legendary Rowtroller-Bob Ellis" will be presented by the Milwaukee Chapter on Tuesday, Oct. 25 @ 7:30pm The meeting is at Legacy Fine Dining, 14955 W. National Ave. New Berlin

Bob's brother, Stan and some of Bob's newphews will share stories, pictures and memorabilia from Bob's lifetime of fishing.

Some of you may remember Bob being mentioned quite often in Bill Garner's classic " Time On The Water"

Bob was well know for catching big muskies in the Vilas Co. area long before rowtrolling became popular.
Unfortunately, we lost Bob 16 years ago to a boating accident on Papoose Lake.

This is a presentation that people will be speaking about for a long time.

NON MEMBERS ARE WELCOME!!!

I would love to see this presentation. Too bad I'm 90 minutes from Milwaukee.

Since Bob is such an icon it would be great if the family/friends could put something together and show some stuff at the Milwaukee expo this spring. It would be a great venue to show how good he was, and from what I have heard/read how far of his time he was.

Mr. Greenduck, that means that you will need to start for the meeting 91 minutes ahead of time!

There's my hero.

The resounding voice of harsh reality!!

Maybe we should start calling SVL "Mr. Obvious".

I'll mention the idea to Dick Ellis who is one of Bob's nephews. That is a good idea as there has been some mention of nominating Bob for the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame.

For those of you interested parties I believe the second annual Bob Ellis Memorial Row-Trowling Tournament is coming up next weekend. Patricia Strutz is the organizer and if interested I'd contact her through her website www.ablondandherboat.com.

For all of you with strong backs in lakes where motor trolling isnt allowed, this seems to be your meeting!
