What is the advantage of a 2piece rod, over a solid one? Thanks Doug

I would think none besides easy transporting. Also you can use a longer rod when it's a 2 piece.

Avoid a 2 piece rod if you can get away with it. It's just one more thing that can fail when you have a fish of a lifetime on. Put every odd in your favor. Todd
