We're heading to the Chippewa Flowage this weekend, anybody have any tips, areas to try? Shallow, deep, weeds, wood drop offs? Have heard the CHip is down 3-4 feet due to lack of rain. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The water is down but the fish are active. The topwater bite is hot right now.

What kind of top water baits are you guys using? I am going up next week and need to know what kind of lures to buy in town, I was told that I don't have enough yet??!!

Top Raider or Pacemaker daytime.....Creeper at night. Don't let someone tell you that it is rocket science.

Update-Whoever said the topwater bite is hot is on something. 6 of us did not move anything on topwater baits. Jerkbaits were the way to go. Eddie's and Squirkos.
