Location: Des Moines IA | Fished Okauchee for the first time this weekend. While in Jollymon's having lunch, we were looking at the map and saw this little lake attatched to Okauchee. So we went over to fish between the two islands and noticed the entrance, so we went in to check it out. Looks pretty secluded, but nobody was fishing. Anyone know of any fish being caught in there? The channel seems pretty shallow for a muskie to swim through? The only reason we made it through is because we were crazy enough to be on Okauchee in a jon boat. |

| I haven't been in there for a while -
Scatched up my boat when I took Kly and "The Dude" Matt W. in there .
Giant musky lives by pontoon boat on S.E. Shore -
12 years ago saw a monster in the channel waiting for dinner. Seems the Garvin fish are very spooky.
Nice place to duck into in a big wind - jon boat is good .
Sorry about sending last 2 posts early - been a long day.

Location: Downers Grove, IL | I've seen some nice fish back there. A couple years back, Kly, myself and Kevin saw a frickin Huge buck that was bedded down. Biggest buck I've ever seen!

Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | My partner and I missed a nice 40"+ back there during the WMT 2 day in Sept. Garvin is a nice big boawl surrounded by Milfoil. It's tough getting into that's for sure, I got foot wet to get in there. |
