I can't believe it, but it looks like Sue and I are home this weekend. We will be on the Moen Chain ( there are two 45's there I owe big time) and maybe a small lake or two if I don't end up helping my Son Brian move from St. Paul to Ashland. Where are you headed to fish Muskies this weekend?

Lambeau (Mike) and I are headed up to Oneida/Vilas/Iron on a little musky adventure Saturday until Tuesday nite...Hitting for sure 3 lakes, maybe more depending on how it goes..Highs only around 70 degrees should make things interesting....could be feast or famine...

Is he coming here for work? Does he musky fish? If he does I better hide my secret little lakes.
Welcome to Ashland, nice place for the outdoorsmen.

Gents (loosely termed, of course),
The hideout is open and ready to go if those lakes are near here.

Brian and his wife both got jobs in Ashland, so they bought a house and are set for awhile. No worries about the Muskies unless Keith and I are visiting, but the bass and pike will catch it for sure.

After the $160.00 speeding ticket (thanx Wi State pooper), and blowing 2 trailer tires, all on the way back from Boulder Jct. monday morning, Lori has grounded me from going ANYWHERE, as well as buying any baits. Thank GOD she did not say anything about bait trades (hehehehe). Daddy needs his Manta's and Hang 10's. At least I got time to finally start cranking out some baits again. I paid my daughter to trace and cut out some baits, but I got to round them, drill and weight them yet. Lori won't even let me be a boat $lut for 2 weeks. that's ok, though, because we are doing another Boulder trip together in September. She wants that 50+ or - she raised up there last weekend.

Taking the family camping/fishing. They really want to do some catching instead of fishing, so we're gonna go after walleyes and smallmouth this weekend.

Heading up for the big V for the week. I have been singing the blues since taking out my lower unit on the GOON. A large fish should help me feel better.BG
