Your best deal is to purchase your outboard motor in Canada.The New Honda High Thrust 9.9 hp 4-Stroke with Electric Start,Hand Held Remote Control and 16 Amp Alternator goes for aroud $2700.00 U.S.,in Canada after the conversion of funds you will pay about $2300.00 U.S.. Also the New 2001 motor only weighs in at 92 lbs.
