hey guys, since you guys are the best when it comes to knowing boat repair
how do you go about replacing a floor in an older glass boat?
it's a viking deck boat with a center console. it has a piece of metal for a floor in it now but it's not very safe.
any sites to go to?
anybody from northern indiana that is good at this?
what kind of wood to get and do i need to put resin on it or just seal it?
thanks again..karol

Karol, Replacing the floor is not that big of a job. I currently have mine out of my Tuffy as I am doing some hull repair and the floor was a lot easier than I thought. Do a search on muskiefirst as there is some great information already here just for the asking.
You may also want to visit www.capndsboatshed.com as he has instructions and pictures on repairing boat floors.
