Location: Mapleton,IL
Anyone been fishing central ill muskies lakes. the water was 87 on monday at banner marsh. heading somewere tomorrow not sure yet looking for water cool enough to muskie fish. Spring Lake, Snakeden, Lake Storey,Banner Marsh anyone been on any of them?

All those lakes are pretty small, so naturally the temps will be higher there. You could try Evergreen, which is slightly larger than the others you mentioned. Ask Thad Hinshaw on his site, www.evergreenmuskie.com what the water temps were last weekend. I think, when I talked to him, they were low 80s. Shelbyville might be another option. I think the water temps there were also in the low 80s.

If you do muskie fish, do so wisely. Minimize time out of water. Quickly remove and release, etc. Try not to troll if at all possible, too. Hope you get one, or two!
