I am plannign a trip to the Rhinelander area this weekend. With all the hot weather I was wondering what the water temps were this weekend. If it's gonna be 80+ degree water with 90+ degree air temps I'll just stay home. Anybody get out around there this weekend?

I was up there a week and a half ago, and I was seeing temps anywhere from 77 to 83 degrees.

we got a front last night with rain and temps. the rest of the week will be highs of 80's and overnight in the mid-high 50's ... should settle things down again and provide relief for all, fish included. it's actually chilly in shorts when i came back from lunch today ... windy too should knock down those temps. pretty good i would think ....

I was on Crescent Lake Friday-Sunday. Water Temps were 79 -83 degrees depending upon the time of day. My Bottom Line Screen was full from 20' to 24'. Nothing was shallower than 14'!

Water temps on many area lakes are in the upper 70's to low 80's, they are all a bit on the warm side. A little rain and a few nights in the fifties would do wonders!! I was on a local flowage and the south end was 86.7 and the north end was at 79.5, quite the disparity on that body of water. There are lots of lakes that are still in the low to mid 70's, don't be afraid to try a deeper clear lake hint hint........................:)
