Here you go...this was a great day for me, I got two, the larger one with my friend Jack who seems to be a big muskie magnet. Winds were tough and temps in the upper 90's, but the muskies hit the Wabull and TopRaider just fine!

I'm all packed up, and watched the boats leave the dock this morning. I have a meeting in the morning tomorrow, so I have to head back today.

I'll have a Wabigoon photo album up this weekend. The weather was brutal as far as record heat and wind, but a GREAT time was had by all!! Thanks to our hosts at Indian Point Camp; we will see you next year!!!

Worrall,
Nice Musky. Doesn't look like she had a scratch on her.

AWESOME pix everyone! Nice muskie, nice northern, nice walleye, etc, etc!

Fish in the boat is a fun and exciting thing, no matter the species! Congrats!

I'm sitting here in my office chair at work...staring at the pix in complete envy!

Steve,
That fish was clean as a whistle, and the Frabill treated her very well. One of the prettiest fish I've ever caught!

I just want to say, I went on this trip with some trepidation over boredom and being the only woman there among the many men, but I had the greatest time, and the pursuit of a fish--any fish, by the end of the trip--had me out on the water way more than I was planning on originally.

The guys were great, and I think it's just amazing that this board fosters friendship that would allow strangers to share a cabin and get along so well, as if they've known each other for years. The people at Indian Point were so nice, too. It was a really good time, and except for the long drive up there, I look forward to going again next year.

*Oh, and keeping with the Golden tradition, both of us fell overboard at various points of the trip.

Just wanted to send out a big thanks to everyone on the trip. I want to thank Steve W. for willingly providing quality information and spots for us to fish. I was in the boat for the 44 incher that Steve caught and can attest that she was very thick. Thanks for the memories. BG

BG,
I had a great time there too! Wish that fish had hit you, but anyone in the boat is better than no one, I guess I was just lucky. Here's a picture of Slamr after speaking personally to the fishes.

I had an awesome time.

Great to put names to faces.

I learned alot about the Goon and muskies in general.

The people at Indian Point Camp are top notch. I will be back.

Just wish my trolling motor worked...

Great trip, it was REALLY HOT. Big Thanks again to Indian Point, and Steve Worrall (DAD) for setting us up. Fished hard, despite the heat, boated 2 muskies in the 3 foot range and screamin Kenny got his second muskie, a nice 36 incher (Chantelle pictures?). Also, I would like to thank the Golden family for their food.........and entertainment. TONS of big northern in our boat every day, got a 3 lb. smallie, and a few other fish. Now I'm just upset that I'm at work.

And most of all, a huge thank you to Steve Jonesi for letting us fish out of his rig for over a week, putting us on fish consistently, and letting us crash at his place for a few days. If you ever get the chance to fish with this guy, DOOOOOOOOOOOOO IT!

Steve- Now that's a bit extreme, i.e., redundant kicker's. Slamr a.k.a " The Kosher Kicker", it's way to funny. He's going to have hard time explaining this one. ROFLMAO. I'm so jealous-you guy's were having way to much fun!

What's next, mask & fins = "Jewish Low Tech Aquaview"?

Have fun!
Al

I don't want to let the cat out of the bag.........but, there is a really amusing story to what I am now referring to as the "jewish incident"............has something to do with a norhtern pike.

Steve, did you let Slamr know that you had a functioning sonar system on the boat that does not need to be personally verified!?

A great time was had by all, although 14 hrs in sun and 100+ degree heat isn't really fun unless you're a camel I guess.Great company all around.FINALLY got to meet Sorno.A highlight for sure.Nice people from Utah, but I wonder what they'd think of us!!!???The Golden's kept us entertained all week.(sniff)Still wondering how the body can consume 3 gallons of water and not have to pee.Amazing.Must have something to do with the heat eh?The Goon is an incredible pond and my hat(2 trips muskie-less)is off to her.#$#@#$%$%^^%$.There, now I feel better.I will return there at some point because she and I STILL have some unfinished business. It absolutely freakin kills me that I KNOW where they live and for some unknown reason, I can't get one in the boat. That's why they call it fishing and not catching. And to Da Country Kid and Screamin Kenny, all I can say is thank you.You guys were freakin hardcore every day.Mi casa es su casa.Anytime.Cool, I've got Family in Pennsylvania. Thanks guys See you guys this fall on Steeler Turf. You bring the rock stars and I'll bring the Bachelorette Party!!!LMAO. They'd think you're nuts. But then, when it comes to muskies, that's not necessarily a bad label.

Seriously, well at least semi-seriously, it was great to meet the bunch that went. It was almost like meeting old friends. I learned a ton, had loads of fun and caught some fish. What more could anyone ask for? Besides, I only have one year w/o a muskie there now - so I'm twice as good as Jonesi! hahahahahaha

sorenson,
I just wish there was more time to move around in the boats, would have liked to spend another afternoon in the same rig out there on the Goon. She was uncharacteristically stingy this trip, but 100 degrees and huge winds didn't help much. The fly by was a success, good film clip! Riding in the plane with the door removed was a hoot!!

Yeah, another half-day tutorial would have been nice! For sure next time.
I was curious about the fly-by too - is that video going to be available sometime? Would love to see it.
Also, some more pics of the festivities...

Anyone else have pictures they want to place in the Goon '05 album? Send them to me, and in the album they will be.
