Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | Haa! low and behold what's staring out at me with a big ole grin plastered across that ugly kisser. It's hollywood big hair day for Mikie w/ a 46" Salt Fork fish.
Congrat's on a nice fish, I know you've been bustin your butt! Now stick her big sister.
Treat's - really nice fish! What lure was that one on?
Jason- Nice fish- Glad to see you're still out there. Hope all is well.
Have fun!

That's a WI strain I got on tonka last year. Our club used to stock tonka with skonies 18-20 years ago so that tells you something about the age of that fish.
I've seen that fish off the same dock for the last 3 years. I got it last year. PK lost it this year, and Matt Thompson caught it 3 years ago. All within 50 yrds of the same spot.
Sorry Rubber Chappy, I won't tell you where it is... |

I've milked that 46-er for about all she's worth, now I need another one (not to get greedy, of course) - bring her on!
I've got my sights set on upper Minnesota for next month.
Funny thing about Salt Fork, I went back later in May and got a 40 with RAZE about 200 yds. from the spot I got that one. Now they have lowered the water level there 5 - 6 feet because the dam has a leak in it. Oh, well.
Thanks, Al, you are too cool. m |
