I was out on Mon. and caught a mid 30's fish and while my friend was releasing it he looked and an close to 50's fish swam up to about foot from the other fish that was being released. This is the first time something like this happened to me. I didn't know if the fish was going to attack the other or was just courious?

Never heard of that before, but I would recommend that you have your friend keep releasing your fish for you and keep your hands out of the water!!

I was putting a mini fish back 2 years ago, bout 30"s or so, and as I did, a 40"er came up to take a look. Needless to say, I got my hands the heck outta the water, grabbed a bulldawg, and 2 mins later had a 40 in the boat. Freaked the living daylights outta me though. Very cool that you saw such a big fish doing that.
