Guys are always posting really neat links to fishing related stuff on the web. How do you guys find those sites? I've been using Altavista for a search engine. Are there others out there that are better at finding fishing stuff on the web? Or do I just need to learn how to do better searches?

Practice does make perfect. I use Google and have pretty good luck finding things. For fishing you might try fishingworks.com. They puport "helping fishermen navigate the Web." A lot of content however. This may help, good luck!

Sorry boys, but www.northernlight.com is much more powerful than the others....you just need to learn some basic boolean logic to utilize it. Great engine for specific searching, tough if you aren't using boolean logic.

I use profusion.com, I like it the best so far. Nice thing about it is it gives you the list and description of hits on the search. Then, you are able to open up the hit in a different window to see if it is what you are looking for. If it's not you just close out the window and you are back to the search results. The other ones I had tried you always had to reload the search.

Try it, it works.

Good Luck and Be Safe,
Scott

I just use the search button on my Internet explorer and it uses all the top search engines to look for whatever you want.
