Well, of course waiting until the last minute has screwed me for Chip accomodations.

I do have a room at the casino reserved, but would like to find something a little closer.

Chip-wa Motel, R&R Bayview, Deerfoot and Treelands are all full.

Any reasonable suggestions?

Thanks - Midge

The big musky resort on Scott Lake and Dun Rovin (by Hay creek) both have motel rooms, Indian Trail has a bunkhouse, check with them.

The resorts are pretty full this time of year, PMTT withstanding.

Yeah, I called Dun Rovin and they told me they only have cabins, not hotel rooms.

Also check with Tiger Musky, Chief Lake Lodge and Chippewa Pines resorts. I have stayed at all 3. Chief Lake Lodge has a GREAT bar and resaurant right there.

Thanks, I actually just booked the last motel room at Big Musky.

Nice to be able to stay on the lake and have dock space !!!

Gonna be a problem with the bog blocking the bridge between the east and west sides.

I was up there Memorial Day weekend and there was room to get by under the bridge.

I have a hard time believing they would let it get to the point that you cannot commute under it.

Sounds like it is not passable at this point.

I just called Hermans' and the bog was blown back out last night and travel from the East to the West sides is possible. Hopefully it stays that way.

Yep, I just talked to Big Musky Resort and they told me that it was blocked for 6 days. But it's open now.

It will be real interesting if it's blocked again for some reason during the PMTT.
