| Hey I'm trying a new area this weekend.. My brother in law has a cabin on Silver lake by laona and I'm wondering if anyone has muskie fished this or any other lakes in the area.. would like to give some a try..but thinking about just running each day to eagle river..
Any help would be appreciated and i will post the weekend report for the lakes i fish..
Any of the lakes besides riley have a decent population of muskies in them..
Thanks Bret |

Silver Lake has muskies in it. Not a large population but they are there. Just down Hwy 8 is Wabicon and Riley. Many skies in their. Stop in and say "HI" to Muskie John at the resort and he will fill you in on whats going on.

A few miles from Roberts is Lily Lake. Lily has a healthy population of skis. It has dark water and is easy to fish!!! Good Luck

| Hey thanks for the info... have to try lily and roberts next time..
Silver is a good looking lake but only caught two muskies out of it.. 30 and 26".
Wabicon is so shallow fished for a little but couldn't find the deep water channel..
pretty spots on silver.
The channel to riley was really shallow..
thanks again bret |
